About Designer

Burchtree’s passion for knives began in childhood, crafting blades in his father’s workshop at age 12. After serving as a U.S. Marine reservist and working as a writer and editor, he rediscovered knife-making in 2002. Known for creating "functional art," he has been a full-time maker since 2006.
