About Design

The Raven was inspired by the lines of the beak and head. Simple, elegant, yet strong and effective made to work just as a knife should be. The head aided to the contouring of the handle and the carefully chosen color scheme complements the materials, creating a cohesive and sophisticated design.

About Designer

Vince is a retired Air Force veteran, and the maker and owner of Black Bird Blades that was established in 2017. Vince specializes in hand forged blades, metal art & leather. All Damascus billets and leather work are made by Black Bird Blades in house. Vince is a big believer in his work looking handmade. Black Bird Blades is known for creating textures and letting the work show the process of it coming to life. In recent years Vince has started doing collaborations with popular companies in his folder designs and designing OEM work to offer Black Bird Blades designs in stainless steel. This gives a clear distinction between his forged custom pieces and OEM.
